What’s adwords? Adwords is an easy way of advertising on Google, the ‘sponsored listings’ are the 2 or 3 that appear at the top or on the right hand side of the search. Adwords is a quick effective way of getting traffic to your website or shop.

To add to this you can now target customers geographically! Google has an 85% IP lookup success; this means that when you perform a search 85% of the time they know which geographic area you are in! Sounds a little bit like big brother but as an advertising tool it can be very useful. It allows you to target who your paid advertising is seen by which, if your service is relevant to a geographic region or area can be a real benefit. Also people often prefer to deal with local companies which can therefore increase the likely-hood of a user clicking your advertisement and going to your site.
